Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of Gorilla Simulator X (the "Game"), made by Big Interations ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the Game you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't play the Game.

1. Who can play

You must meet the age requirements for a Meta account and for Meta Quest in your country. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.

2. Your account

The Game signs you in with your Meta account and saves your progress on our game servers. You are responsible for activity on your account. Don't share, sell or transfer your account or your progress.

3. Your license to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play the Game for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Game, except where the law allows it.

4. Virtual items and currencies

• Coins, Gems, Candy, pets, eggs, boosts and other in-game items ("Virtual Items") have no real-world value. They cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the Game.
• You get a limited license to use Virtual Items inside the Game. You do not own them.
• Event items and exclusive pets may only be available for a limited time.
• We may change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items, for example to fix bugs or keep the game fair. If a bug or cheat gives you items, we may remove them.

5. Purchases

Purchases in the Game are processed by Meta through the Meta Horizon Store, under Meta's terms and refund policy. We do not see or store your payment details. Except where the law requires otherwise, purchases are final.

6. Playing with others

The Game is online and multiplayer. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against other players, in voice chat, names or any other way;
• use offensive or inappropriate names;
• cheat, hack, use mods or exploits, or interfere with the servers or other players' games;
• scam other players in trades or buy, sell or trade accounts or items for real money;
• pretend to be a staff member or another player.

We can't monitor every room. You can report a player to us at the contact below, and you can use Meta's block and report tools.

7. Enforcement

If you break these Terms, we may warn you, remove you from a room, reset or remove Virtual Items, or suspend or ban your account, with or without notice. You won't get a refund for Virtual Items lost because of a ban, except where the law requires it.

8. Changes to the Game

The Game is updated over time. We may add, change or remove features, events and content, and we may stop running the Game. We'll try to give notice in the Game before we shut it down.

9. Disclaimer

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that the Game will be error-free or always available. Play in a safe, clear space and follow Meta's health and safety warnings for VR.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or Virtual Items. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $10 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep playing after an update, you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York, except where your local consumer law gives you other rights.

13. Meta

Gorilla Simulator X is made by an independent developer. Meta is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Game.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Gorilla Simulator X (the "Game") collects, how it is used and what choices you have. The Game is made by Big Interations and Snakes games ("we", "us").

1. What we collect

We do not collect your real name, email address, location, contacts or photos, and we do not use advertising trackers.

2. In-app purchases

Gorilla Simulator X sells optional in-game items for real money through Meta's in-app purchase (IAP) system. Players can buy:

• Consumable items: gem packs, eggs, boost bundles, a one-time starter pack and store-exclusive pets.
• Durable passes: permanent perks such as 2x Coins, Lucky Pass, extra pet slots, Auto Hatch, Pet Magnet and VIP.

The Game uses Meta's IAP feature only to do the following:

• load the list of items and their prices in your local currency;
• open Meta's checkout window when you choose to buy something;
• read your purchase so we can give you the item, and mark consumable items as used so they can be bought again;
• check which passes you own each time the Game starts, so they work after a reinstall or on another headset, and finish any purchase that was interrupted.

The purchase information we receive is the item ID (SKU), a purchase ID and the time of purchase. We store the purchase ID with your saved game so the same purchase is never given twice. Our server may send the purchase ID to Meta to confirm it is real before giving the item. Meta handles all payment; we never receive your name, card, billing address or other payment details. Purchases are covered by Meta's terms and refund policy.

3. Services we use

These companies process data for us so the Game can work. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Meta Platforms: sign-in, the Meta Horizon Store and in-app purchases (prices, checkout, purchase checks and owned passes).
• Microsoft PlayFab: game accounts and saved progress.
• Photon by Exit Games: multiplayer rooms and voice chat.

4. What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information.
• We don't share it for advertising.
• We don't show ads in the Game.

5. What other players can see

Other players in your room can see your display name and your avatar, see your equipped pets, hear your voice if you use voice chat, and see announcements such as rare hatches. Use a private room code if you only want to play with friends.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your game data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your data, or your account is inactive for 24 months, we delete or anonymize it, except for what we must keep to follow the law or stop cheating and abuse.

7. Your choices and rights

• You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete it. Email us with your in-game name so we can find your account.
• You can mute your microphone or other players with your headset's Meta settings, and you don't have to use voice chat to play.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have more rights, such as the right to object or to complain to a data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for using them.

8. Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent and believe your child under 13 has played the Game, contact us and we will delete their data.

9. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored by our server providers. Admin tools in the Game are checked on the server. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that data will never be accessed without permission.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, they use legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will also be announced in the Game.
